I feel like my max is lagging does this look like slippage or tune up needed? It may be too hot i nees to check the coolant level cause it feels lazy...

I might add the tires are practically bald probably why the rpm dropped from 7200 to approx 4900rpms after shifting to 2nd it should have dropped to 5400 like it used to

GStrength 06-09-2012 09:41 AM

In the first vid, you must've really been pushing the car.
Tires are needed badly

96MaXiclean 06-09-2012 10:27 AM

yea first video seemed odd, first the rubber spun, (are your tires too low) and the second video seemed strong... but did your foot slip in the 1st or did it skip that bad? strange

Actually im at a tire place right now. Tires are so worn u can see the threads under the rubber on the inside wall so i need a wheel alignment too

LOL wow... i wouldn't assume any clutch slippage till i get them replaced. i have the same traction situation with tire slippage... my tires are still good (cooper all seasons, grip is so so -good enough- but the wear is EXCELLENT) but i have very soft 17 year old stock setup suspension

That Thing Seemed To Pull Really Strong! And Never Seen a 4th Gen go Down To 7200rpm? How u do that?

MaximaSpd85 06-10-2012 07:43 PM

7200 rpm is achieved via JWT ecu. pulls strong after 5k rpm because of MEVI.

before you ask what they are type it in search please and thank you :D

thanks for the input i really do appreciate it. I did notice a difference after switching up the tires. Little things go a long way.
