A32's Washer Nozzles vs. Murano's Washer Nozzles [Videos Inside]

She now squirts almost across the whole car.

Left, Murano. Right, A32.

UPDATE: See the two pillars next to the ">PBT<" letters? (not the clips/claw looking things) You have to trim down the left one. Right one will clear the hood.

Left Murano. Right A32

*Sorry for the background noise. There was a King's parade and damn helicopters and airplanes were all over the place.*

Both Murano Nozzles.

Its NOT a direct modification. You have to shave off one edge from each nozzle NOT the hood. Its easier to shave off plastic than metal . I stabbed my finger twice, so be careful. Forgot to take pics of that part but you'll figure it out. Thanks for viewing.

I need to get a set of these. My A32 washers are all plugged up and don't spray evenly enough to clean the window.

This needed a writeup?

It is a worthy upgrade, for sure. Did it a month or so ago, the spray pattern is beautiful!!! Stock A32 is two jets of water per nozzle, Murano is a fan spray.

Open hood
Remove hose from nozzles
Take needlenose or blunt nose pliers, squeeze nozzle ends and push outward, pops right off

pop the hood. remove the clips holding the insulator on(if necessary on our cars i cant remember right now), to reveal the backside of our nozzles. get a small flat head screw driver or a small prying tool, and push the flares inward one side at a time, while pushing out towards the windshield.

also when removing the hoses from the nozzles, make sure you TWIST THE HOSE FIRST TO BREAK THE DRYROTTED SEAL. OTHER WISE YOU WILL MOST LIKELY SNAP THE NIPPLE ON THE NOZZLE. TRUST ME IT HAPPENS EVERY DAY.

This ain't no write-up. Write-up contains details from start to finish. I was just showing the difference.

I was about to do this. But then I remembered all of my windshield washer fluid falls into some parallel universe with no signs of leakage anywhere.

Left wiper blade = New. That was its first swipe.
Right wiper blade = Fairly used.

Car was sitting under a tree. Windshield was sticky from the pollen/honey whatever the flowers were dripping.

Does anyone know what the part number is?

Never mind. I found it. Tri-Cities has the pair for $23.64 plus shipping.

I was wondering what replacement ones I could use for the fan spray. I HATE the twin stream garbage. I can't seem to get the video to work, though that will not stop me from doing this mod.

"probably safe"..I certainly hope so!

I recommend paying really close attention to when you shave the little tab thingies... I just used a pair of diagonal cutters and it didn't sit flush with the hood. I re-cut with an x-acto type knife (carefully!) and now they sit nice and flush.

That was what I was getting at, hence why I was wondering which part worked for it. I hate our stock sprayers. I was looking for this type so as to have the fan spray.

To me it was safe (I just stabbed my self once cause I didn't pay attention). It is cheap, cause the A32 nozzles go for double the price each and they have a lame pattern.

I only used a flat-head screwdriver

From my understanding the 1st gen murano will be easy to work on. I got a pair from the 2005. Don't forget, this isn't a direct fit. You have to shave off one edge from each nozzle. I managed to do it with a flat head screwdriver. Took me about 10-15 minutes for both. I forgot to take pictures of the edge I'm talking about but if you get a pair, you'll figure it out.

Clearly your right OEM nozzle was clogged.

Clearly they were. Maybe it was a bad example but it seems like everyone got the point that Murano nozzles > A32 nozzles. Thanks

**I ordered a pair for one of our members, hopefully I'll get them on Monday. Before I ship them out to the org member, I'll take some pics on the edge I've been talking about to shave off. Stay tuned.**

Got mine and installed them on Saturday. For the record I had to use a little bit of double sided 3M tape on the bottoms..they were slightly loose.

If you like the nozzles, then you guys may also be interested in strengthening the springs in your wiper arms too........

http://surewipe.com/options.php?marq...e=MAXIMA&lg=en

I only use one on the drivers side arm.
