Noticed rear spoiler vibrating on highway today

I was thinking, I know the trunk is shut, is the spoiler coming loose? Checked it, and it's totally secure.

Just got new KYB struts in the rear a couple of weeks ago, could the rear be bouncing??? It's as if the rear deck is vibrating and making a shuddering sound...very odd.

I doubt it's the spoiler. Something was installed incorrectly.

hmmm....not sure, there wasn't much to installing the struts although we did compress the springs. I'm just wondering if the KYB are firmer, don't really know....

What strut mounts are you using in the rear? With the car parked, try gently tugging the spoiler and see if its loose. Highly doubt its the spoiler. If it turns out that the spoiler IS loose, open the trunk and take off that cloth covering. Tighten the nuts.

Used the original strut mounts, got the KYB GR2's. Maybe my tires are overinflated? Because I have to admit the car doesn't seem to ride that well considering it has new struts on all corners (feels like big bumps are really jarring, compared to my other two cars hitting the same bumps).....I have like 35/32 f/r....maybe should try 33/30....still that's not a lot of difference.....

youve got a stock spoiler right?

when i replaced mine with the ionic dynamics CF one(one of their items that actually weighs WAYWAYWAY more than the stock one, but oh well i like it), my trunk now rattles over big bumps because of how heavy the spoiler is.
