ive been immobilized i have a question

i have a 99 maxima and as it says ive been immobilized my question is can i use anti-theft system parts like the nats antenna and other stuff off another 99 maxima that where working before the motor blew and just have them reprogramed at the dealler or do i have to have the dealer charge me 800 bucks to replace + labor

it's the ECU, key, and ignition switches...not just the "NATS antenna"

Cool thanks was just wondering already found the parts just wondering if it would work is all

New parts or your own, either will need a reprogram and will cost the same. Why would you want to go thought the additional labor of replacing parts? Are you 100% sure it's immobilized?

Go to your buddy to reprogram your system to recognize your keys. The dealer was just trying to sell you parts. Ive seen 399 posts about NATS locking up, and NEVER a word about parts going bad.

:sprint:

All you need is a reprogram. If your buddy has the reprogramming tool, then call him up and grab him a 12 pack and get to it! :D
