ashtray fuse?

Is there an ashtray fuse. I don't see it under the dash fuse box so I assume there is no fuse for it. Interested in replacing the light.

The ashtray light does not have its own separate fuse. It is part of the dashlights, so if you have the glovebox light, shiftlever light (auto trans) or any dashlights, you probably have a burned out light bulb.

does the a/c control have bulbs to light it up also? it only lights up at night if I turn it on, other than that I have to feel my way around to see the buttons.

if its am auto - climate then yes it should light up even with the lights off. standard or manual climate if its dark then the bulb is burned out.

Both the auto and manual A/C controls have bulbs that light up the controls at night. Auto control bulbs pretty easy to replace; I assume manual will be the same. Pull the unit out of the dash and look at back; there should be 3 or 4 small round plastic pieces with a slot in them. Those are the bulb holders. Bulbs are #74 (I think?) and readily available at most auto parts stores. You can switch to LED - just watch your polarity as it matters for LED.
