The difficulty of the job depends on how hard/easy it is to get the bolts off. Look in the FAQs. Numerous threads with pictures

Yeah, control arms aren't difficult to change at all, it's getting the old arms off (or shall I say the little metal sleeve inside the bushing around the gusset). Ususally the bushing is trashed, and the metal sleeve sticks to the gusset making the control arm hard to pull off. All other bolts are straight forward.

Typically it's that bushing around the gusset that goes bad and starts making clunking noises. I've used pullers with success when trying to remove the arms from the gusset. If the sleeve gets stuck, then I use heat, but some on the org do not like using heat though.

The only other hard part would separating the ball joint from the knuckle which isn't usually bad at all. Sometimes I've run into trouble removing the nut holding the ball joint in, but other than that you should be good.

I got some extra pivot rods from when I did my arms. I'll post it in classifieds once I get them out if you're interested.

Another way to get the old sleeve out is to use an air hammer with a mushroom head attachment and gently drive it out. I didn't end up needing to use any heat with this method.
