Cruise Control

I have been reading these posts and the answer is probably there, I am just not that smart about these things. I have downloaded the pdf that someone pointed to so I know where the major parts are located now.

The symptoms - The on switch lights green, when you press the set button on the steering wheel , the cruise led lights on the dash. However it will not hold speed.

All help would be appreciated.

Have you done any work near the throttle body recently? Could have dislodged the CC cable or the TB has build-up on it and it is just stuck

I'd check in the engine bay and make sure that the vacuum (at least I think its vacuum) hose is still attached to the cc unit bolted to the firewall.
