Gauge cluster not working

My 98 SE at 175,000 is having guage issues. First it was intermintent now the fuel and temp guages are pinned all the way up when the ignition is on and the speed and tach guages only vibrate and don't move.

Also the digital odometer shows 9999999.

Is the cluster bad?

Any ideas / suggestions.

Thanks,

Jon

First thing first, take the cluster out and make sure all the wiring is still intact. I had a similar thing happen on my '99.

Second, if you find all the wires are good and it's still wigging out head to the junk yard. These are usually like 30 bucks there. Bad thing is you're like me with a digital odo, so you won't know the mileage on that one til you plug it in.

Good luck, hopefully its only a wire issue.
