Swirl valve bypass/delete?

Has anyone ever got rid of this annoying thing? Ive only heard bad things about this swirl valve on our 99 calis. I refuse to drive around with a CEL, but i want to get rid of useless components. Also, anyone have pictures of the actual swirl valves with the IM taken apart?

I believe that's what you are talking about. That's from the DE-K.

according to the thread all you have to do is unsrew the butterflys, removed the 2 rods, and jb weld the holes that the rods ran thru (ill attach the photos from the thread).

Would you be able to just swap a FED LIM and leave the round motor piece and sensor?
