I got two questions

Is there any thing i can put on my two side mirrors to keep the head lights from cars behind from bothering my eyes? Im lookin for like a spray i can apply that will block out some of the glare. Also is there any company that makes metalic colored, heat repelent paint that i can use to paint the plastic cover that says v6 3000? thanks

The paint you can pick up at most auto stores. Just look for the stuff made for engines.

I was gonna recomend that but wasnt sure about laws concerning it or if he would still be able to use the mirrors good enough? Any one with tint or know it better think this is safe/legal?

I have my side mirrors positioned so that my blindspots are covered. This means moving the mirrors to the outside so that you can't see the side of your car. Learned that in my accident avoidance class last August.
It takes some getting used to. You use the rear view mirror as the sole mirror for looking backwards. When you see a car moving up to pass you you can see first in the rear view mirror. As the passing car moves up your left side you can pick it up in your left side mirror when its almost out of the rear view mirror. When the car is nearly out of the side mirror your peripheral vision will pick it up in the corner of your eye.

That's what I do too. It really helps a lot once you get used to it.

If you go fast enough no one ever comes up in your blindspots.. just run 95mph on the interstate... switching lanes and all that is cake, they are behind you FAST.. that is my trick.

I like your grill, it looks good. I put the mesh behind the existing grill, but you can barely see it. How did you attach it?? Is there anything behind the mesh to keep the shape it is in? Did you get the non-mesh part painted black??

Thanks,
Ken

I wrote up a custom grille thread last week. Here it is:

As for the grille part its still there underneath. The eye only sees the custom grille on top until you look real close. If you look real closely at my sig pic you can see the zip ties at each end of the top part of the grille right above the horizontal bar. Also where I have my hood release cutout to the left of it you can barely make out two zip ties just underneath the hood lip.

How about the non-mesh part... the part that holds the nissan emblem? Do you get that painted, or did it come that way? Mine is silver, but I like the way the looks when it matches the body color.

Thanks for the info
