You think wrong... but anyways... the ecu is not going to make a huge power difference. 5-10 hp at the most... what it will do is make the car run safer... potentially allowing you to run even more boost.

I think he means its going to buck due to the remapped fuel curve and the car being running too rich and also due to the advance timing..

DO I TRUST THEM? That is the question at hand here... Has anyone ever had any measurable success with JET and a maxima ECU? I know what your gonna reference (the guy you met at a show) that's all well and good, but did he have proof? and if so where?

I am getting thrifty in my old age... if you had half the money sunk into your car (and no your ridiculous interest rate on your loan doesn't count) you would understand... hahahahaha... gimme some contact info for these fools. Maybe I will roll some change this weekend after I am done putting my Quaifed Tranny back together.

LOL!

OK where's your other 12,500 bux? You got no stereo? No Aerokit? No tint? No HID's..... What did you buy... You had the wheels from your previous hooptie, you bought a stock spoiler... WTF???

lets not get personal..

anyway.. i had a stereo.. the fact that i spent over $700 on components ALONE .. and sold them to you for LESS THAN HALF THAT.. i guess that doesn't mean ****? or did you factor in MY full price into YOUR mods also? the rest of my stereo system costed me over $1000 total

I bought the wheels for my first maxima and i put them on my second maxima? does that mean its not a PAID FOR mod on my NEW maxima? i am confused? so if you transfer all the **** now from your car now to another car.. god forbid you loose this one? does that mean you have $0 worth of mods on your new one?

I bought an Aero Kit USED.. just like you bought your kit USED.. i sold mine for less than what i paid for it.. does that mean i didn't PAY FOR IT?

Tint is GHETTO

thats right.. i have no mods on my car.. nothing.. its bone stock..

remember i have probably spent more on my car because MOST of your mods are used

Damn dude... Calm down... Most of my mods are used? Not really, but hey whatever... You can transfer mods over and count them seven ways to sunday... I don't care. Everyone's checkbook is their own thing. But if the mods are not on your car, and never will be (aerokit, and now the diamonds, rest of stereo) why would you count that as money invested, did you at least subtract what you made from selling them used? You think I care dude... You know how I am about my car, you of all people know. I never claimed your car to be stock, I just don't see 15k in it. Sorry. I don't think I see 15k in my own car... I have not calculated in a long time though, it could very well be over that. If you've got 15k in yours more power to you.

Q

money invested.. money invested is differnt from money gained and money lost.. how much do i have invested $15,000 .. how much have i spent .. $15,000 .. how much have i gotten back? i dunno maybe $5,000 .. its relative..

things you also have to take into account.. my rims.. yeah .. i paid for my rims.. but then i had to have them sandblasted and then powdercoated.. but i am sure you didn't factor that in the inital cost..

or the two y pipes i have bought.. i also count the amount of money i have spent at the muffler shop getting the problem rectified.. **** like that..

as i said before.. i know how much i invested. i know.. i added it up.. but hey if you don't see it.. you don't see it.. it just seems like because i am not boosted "i havn't spent half the money you have spent" .. that is your quote? right? well anyway.. i guess if you havn't spent $15,000 i guess i havn't spent $7,500 .. but i am not a math major.. so ow well.. thats how the money rolls..

I didn't do any math on your car... I did recall that you did have the rims powdercoated, but anyways Darren...Boost doesn't have anything to do with it, cause I well know you can afford a SC, and if things had swung your way and a certain person hadn't of scumbagged you, you would have been boosting long before me. Let's not make the Boost superiority thing an issue here bro. You see money invested one way I see it another. No biggie... Maybe you have just as much money sunkk into your max as I do, if not potentially more. I apologize for ever bringing it up. I shouldn't question your money spent. But if you got back 5k on a 15k investment doesn't that make the total investment 10k? Anyways bro... I am done arguing in a public forum with you on this topic. Take it to IM or 2-way
