Cold air intake

ok so im gonna be buying a cold air intake soon, was browsing around looking at brands and prices. saw the short ram intakes are cheaper but it isnt fresh cold air so im gona pass on the short ram. i seen cold air intakes that go in the fender well and prices range from about $70-$150. i want a decent one at least, i know ebay might not be trust worthy so i wanted to know where you guys get your intakes from and how much i should be paying for a good one.

forreal. and youre getting raped if you pay a buck 50 for an ebay fenderwell. its all you need, but dont pay more than ~60 shipped.

Search.

Just a tip: I got my fender CAI from Ebay for $35 shipped. More than $40, you're getting raped. I just ended up buying a Amsoil AiR cone filter rather than using the ebay filter.

thats cheaper than i thought, i just want something better so my engine could have fresh air. i know short ram uses the engine air which is retarded to begin with but. you got any step by step on how to do it, i know it comes with hoses that need to be hooked up to emissions and such, anything would help since itll be my first time installing one.

You should get rid of that silly air compressor bolted to your engine. That should free up some hp.
