Deleted my Post ? Really

Im a new member, asked a question and it took (5) other members on here to tell me i needed to use the search feature which i did. I then go back to find my post and its been deleted or moved ? seriously ?

It took 5 people to say use search when it couldve only taken 1 to answer the question.. that makes sense and then the post is moved or deleted.

Thankfully this is the internet and thankfully theres more than one maxima site .. have a good day

thread/

EDIT: his thread wasnt deleted...it was locked. I told you to search AND answered your question.

BTW, I searched "hose" and the first page of results had multiple threads about "breather hose", "crooked hose", "where does this hose go". So to say you searched is a lie...unless by searching you mean posting a thread and hoping for someone to answer you on a topic that is covered weekly

I propose a two searches before each post rule for members with fewer than 15 posts.

Guys.. im not trying to come off as a a**. Im a Mod on a site and i understand about answering the same question over and over, but, I have spent/waisted a lot of time trying to come up with the correct search word to find what i need and then you spend more time looking thru thread after thread. If its an issue make a sticky for everyone to see instead of complaining when someone asks.

If a person needs immediate help, and there in a hurry do you think there gonna have the time play guess the word game and read thru 50 posts game, no.. there gonna go to a different site where people are willing to help without being flamed. The site i was and still am a mod we never throw the "search" brick at anyone. I think a lot of sites get too big for there britches as they say and quit willing to help and the next thing you know there losing memeber.

This is a great site and resource but, i think you could be a lil more helpful ecspecially to people you notice are noobs on the site. A simple, respectful reply couldve been... tell me the answer to what i asked and then offer the search and say use this word to find it. Answer the question, and educate !

I dont appreciate being called a liar, yes, i did search it. Im sure its easy for you guys to find what im talking about if youve had to answer the question several times.. duh

Automatic transmission breather hose. Vapors exit the hose. Follow the hose down and you'll see it connects to the trans.

Is that what this was about? Another "what is this disconnected hose" question?

Your question was answered on your original thread. What more do you want?

He wants to not feel embarrassed, perhaps first by his question, but now simply by his behavior.

But unless he deletes this thread... well, that ship has sailed.
