What is this piece called, I would have used the good old search method on how to change/Clean it but i don't know what it is or does. New and trying to get into the DIY engine game. Much thanks.

If there is a search link, please provide it in response, thank you.

That is a wire harness. It contains many wires such as those for your fuel injectors, the ignition coils and lots of other wires. Since all the wires are wrapped in a plastic-like substance similar to electrical tape, you don't want to use a solvent on it. If you can'r clean it with a soap based cleaner, I would suggest you either wrap it in something or leave it alone.

Said piece is a wiring harness. No need to replace unless totally fubar. To clean just wipe down with a damp cloth

Those two filters shouldn't be like that. First of all you are letting air get into the engine after the maf so the engine doesn't know and you are running it lean. The maf sensor needs to know how much air is going into the engine basically. And don't mess with the wiring harness.

Yeah always trying to learn more and more about the engine bay area. Relatively new at engines and engine parts. Never to late to start to learn.
