What's your Insurance

Just curious what the average person pays for full coverage insurance on a Maxima.

Please post your insurance Company name and how much you pay per month. Maybe some of us can find a better rate through the good deals others get.

Myself:

USAA Insurance
$158.00/mo
Includes roadside, towing, 100,000 comp, 50,000 medical.
$250 Deduct.

State Farm Insurance

My wife and I both own 96 SE's and we pay about $120 a month for both of them. BIG benefit of marriage. I used to pay $165/month just on my car before we got married.

I don't pay my insurance but I know my father pays $250 for six months and I am insured under a 96 sentra which is $400 for six months. I know I'm spoiled. Our insurance company is State Farm!

State Farm has been really good to me. I have had two claims with them and one of them was my totaled 96 SE and the other was a stolen system on 96 SE (they really hooked me up on that) and my insurance is around $550 every 6 months for full coverage on my 98 SE.

Oh, I will have a completely clean @ss record on the 12th too!!!

If you want a good deal on insurance and are under the age of 25 (i think). Go to your local Statefarm insurance co. and ask about the "stear clear" program. They cut my insurance by more than 50%.

I have full coverage, life insurance, and rental insurance (apt), for $126.00 a month.

That's the Exact same setup I have. I pay $125 per month.

It's probably less just because I live in Montgomery, AL.

I know that in WA State, Insurance rates are 30% above the national average.

So are taxes.

They just raised the gas tax here 10 cents, cigarettes 60 cents, and liquor 40 cents. While we pay 8.9% sales tax.

oh, and Property Tax in King County is 120% over the national average.

I love this state....NOT.

I have USAA also.

23yrs old
1997 SE
I pay about $165/month, but I'm moving and it should come down.

My roommate has a 1995 GLE and he pays $1100/year with State Farm, but he gets an extra discount cause he has his motorcycle and renters insurance all with State Farm.

My Dad is retired Army and currently a GS-15 with the government.
I'm pretty sure the rule still sticks.

I use Geico. Two cars: full coverage for my '95 GXE and liability coverage for the '72 Olds 442 costs $592/year. I'm located outside of Richmond, VA. Of course, i'm 34 years old, have no accidents and no tickets, so ...

Use Allstate. $260 a month. 17 with one accident. Full coverage and everything. I can't complain about insurance cause they paid me $13k for my accident while I've only paid them about $2k so far.

FYI -

When I was 18, I had 4 tickets, and insurance was $770 per MONTH.
(One ticket was Reckless Driving on a Suspended liscense)

Turns out driving on a Suspended (at least here in WA) is more points on your liscence than a DUI.

DUI=7
DWS=10!!!

So don't feel so bad...heh

My insurance barely went up when I got into an accident so don't worry too much about it. I think only $20 or so a month and I almost totalled the car. It was my first fault though and I think if I screw up again it goes up a lot more.

my dad used to pay about 800 a month for full coverage with GEICO. When my name was added to the insurance (he got a new car and gave me his), they added another 600 onto it, so basically its 1400 for two people, full coverage

My car is registered on my fathers name, I'm not evenr reported as a driver, because I know that will raise the premium by a good bunch. Through my father, i pay 1,200$ or so for full collision for a year. my father has a clean record, and it's less because we have another car 1987 mercury sable which is about 400$ bucks liability for the whole year this is in Staten island, NYC. In another borough, there is a good chance it would be twice the amount.
Oh yea, this is through Geico

So what happens if you get into an accident and your insurance company doesn't want to pay since you're not reported as a driver?
