All the car has right now is an intake/exhaust. But the NOS kit, SC, Y-Pipe are all sitting in my garage awaiting install. I'm also having an LSD custom built for the auto as well as custom axles. I'm trying to buy a spare tranny right now to work on also. After the performance is done, I'm going to finish up the stereo. I'm almost done with the trunk right now, neon, plexiglass, is almost all in. I still need to put the TV's, VCR, PS2 in though.
After the stereo gets done, I do have a few plans in the looks department. New mirrors, custom wing, custom hood, headlight/taillight conversion, widebody, oops did I say that?
And after that gets done, I want to buy a spare engine to build up to see just how much power I can get.

Right now, the car will have over $30K in mods after the SC/NOS and stereo are finished being installed. It's like an addiction. Once the car looks good, need the performance to match. Then once there's performance, the car doesn't look good enough. And of course, there's the stereo which needs to be on par with everything else. But for me, this is part of my business, so it all has a purpose. But in the end, I would say get a balance of both. You're not going to be happy with just looks or just performance. And on a Maxima, looks are more expensive than performance. There's unlimited possiblities in the looks department, but only so much you can do to the engine.

I agree with you on that one man! Say it loud!!! For real though, i am working on looks right now, basic stuff like lighting, wing, and kit. After that probably around the summer i will work more on my performance. All i want to do is make my max look MAX nah mean. Turn a couple of head and what not. Plus, racing where i live is not the best thing cuz we got state troopers, city cops, town cops, and D.A.R.E just waiting for the (100s of so called fast civics and integras) to go flying down the highway or streets.

From my understanding SHADOW has sponsors that help him mood his car. So no need to be exited becuase some people have to spend almost half of their paycheck to mood their cars.

As far as you question I would go for the looks. Like many people saying on the forum you will get caught by the cops and spend lots of money on your speeding tickets(that could be invested into your car.) Just a thought good luck with your decisions.

yes shadow does have sponsers, so he can afford a little more to MOD his car, plus he is in the biz, so he actually gets payoff from having a sweet car
