Remember to get the correct axles for your tranny when you swap it

Install the transgo RE4F04A shift kit within the VB. Do a search within this forum for more info on it's results and how to install it.

Wrong!! Look at the Vin plaque on passenger's side of the firewall. If the last letter of the transmission code is v it is LSD.
ALL I30's have LSD with automatic transmissions. This was one of many reasons why they sold for 2-4 grand more than a Maxima.

You sir are WRONG. Not ALL I30's came with LSD, only the touring models. At least here in the states.

ALL I30t's with automatic transmissions had vlsd as STANDARD equipment. It was optional on base models. That being said, every I30 base model I have come across in the Northeast has had vlsd.

I have never seen a I30 with VLSD and i have even seen I30t without! My brother owns an I30 here in New England and its not VLSD we just looked at another I30 for my sis over the weekend it was also not VLSD.

before you get all tough do a quick fact check its OK to be wrong or misinformed, its not very becoming to dig in on your position tho.

Did you read what I wrote? Vlsd was optional on base I30's. .Perhaps what I should have stated was that vlsd was available to All I30's. Those that were delivered to snowbound areas were delivered with vlsd standard. Cases in point.... all 3 of the I30 base model automatics that I have owned have had vlsd. All I30's (base or Touring) automatics that I have come across in my nearby junk yard (25+) all had vlsd.

i think your full of it. Use that big brain of yours and do a poll i betcha the results will show most were NOT VLSD.

When i upgraded my max to VLSD it was very heard to find one within 100 miles of me in a junk yard im in CT we get plenty of snow.

Those yards are not near me so I'm not sure what zip code you used. My local yard is a "U pull it" type. In clicking on the search link you provided for I30's there seems that most of them came up as Vlsd equipped. So I'm not sure what you are trying to prove.

I stand by my statements as I know what I have owned as well as what I have come across over the years at my local junk yard.

i sent two links the 1st was a search for VLSD so naturally they would be VLSD my point was the closest to that zip code (Location: Binghamton,NY from your profile) was Elkton, MD i mean come on really? 221 miles away.

the 2nd was only non-VLSD and cloest was Syracuse, NY 73 miles away.

again this only going by the addy in your profile
