Help in identifying leaking sensor please

Hi,
I have found an oil leak on my '95 maxima. It is coming from what looks like a sensor that is mounted on the left side of the engine (when looking from the front of the car) towards the front and set into the aluminium timing chain cover and above the belt tension adjuster. It has wire going to the cable of wires that go to the fuel injection etc. Can someone tell me what this sensor is and why oil may be leaking from it?

Thanks,
Mark

Cam sensor...take out the 10mm bolt, you will not lose oil when you do so, and you will see a rubber o-ring on it. Go to any parts store and buy a new o-ring and replace for less than $1.00. Leak gone.

It's a common leak on these cars.

Thanks a lot. Now that I know what it is called I can see that it is a well known leak. Can't beat that for an easy fix!
