Steering Wheel swap

What's up members, got two issues. First I have a 97 style steering wheel complete with ignition, clockspring etc... that I want to put on my 95, is it possible? 97 column was cut thru the metal so I have all parts.

Now I just got the 95 and it would crank, crank and crank the dash lights flicker, I'm thinking a grounding problem but I changed the plugs, changed Maf, cam sensor and 1 crank sensor and it starts up better but still the way it should. I'm thinking to put my 97's fuel pump and new starter and see what happens. What do u guys think?

And I dont care if this has nothing to do with what you ask. But I am a forum member and You just dont do that **** to people. Your black listed in my book and ill continue to treat you as such. And i will be posting my expierence and entire convo in the members feedback section. Goodluck.

Reality sucks, especially when you get a dose of it.
This isn't the place for a post like that. There's a forum section for that.
Find it and use it!

Thats Funny, Because you werent **** talking in the apology you just sent me. But I know now, I just dont deal with shady *** people like you, I dont know or owe you ****, I held a trans for you when I had others cash in hand, I promised I would hold it for you and thats what I did, You asked on more than one occasion (4 to be exact) if I would hold it For you. Being nice I said I would, again I had other offers but since you were semi local and willing to pick up I did so Because YOU ASKED, Doesnt matter now, apology accepted. But the last time we deal.

I sent my number 3 times. Gave time and place to meet. His exact words were "Thats Perfect" . Back to the topic, Yes the wheel will fit, I have this swap in my car. The air bag harness is different, he will need the harness for both bags and the air bag module.

Actually no, I drove 67 miles one way, and 67 back. And You really sholdn't speak on issues you know nothing about. Really doesn't concern you. We agreed to meet a certain time and certain place I gave him my number in case he couldnt make it to let me know. Last time we spoke all was well.

Damn that sucks dude I had to drive from NY to NJ a couple months ago to meet up with another org'er for some suspension parts. Took me an hour and a half each way and I could only imagine how pissed I would be if he conveniently didn't show up or something. Good thing everything worked out for me. as for you sorry you had to go through all that. Flakers suck. no offense OP

Honestly....if you wanted people to not speak on what you wrote you shouldn't have replied to the OP post like you did. What do you expect, because a person didn't completely agree with your side of the argument you are going to bash him. Sorry I would have made PHONE call. You can tell alot from someone's voice and intentions by having an actual conversation instead of text and PM.

If a person was buying a tranny from me, and wanted me to hold it....he would driving to me. Or he would give me a deposit in good faith before I drove almost 150 miles round trip.

END THE THREAD ALREADY!

OP, yes its possible. My buddy Jarrod and I swapped a 99 Maxima wheel into his 97 i30... Yes, the 96-97 i30 wheel is the same as 95-96 Maxima wheel. There are ever so slight differences between Maxima and i30 wheels of like styles so air bag swaps are not recommended!

What we did was dismantle both wheels and then used HIS clock spring and mounted it in the new wheel. We had to trim a couple places inside the wheel in order for the clock spring and wire harness to fit but it works just fine. Take the things apart and go to town with a Dremel! If you've already got the wheel then there should be nothing stopping you!

And yes, it sounds like your second issue could be a bad ground. Assuming everything else is ok, and your battery is charged sufficiently.
