cell codes need help 5speed swap
i swapped my 97 max to 5speed. i got this code left and need help gettin rid of it.
wat i have done so far is
1.swapped tranny
2.swapped ecu to manual on(and unplugged tcm)
3.i did the P/N switch i jumped it to be on to start it(running it to clutch pedal soon)
4. i did the rever lights to come on.
wat else do i need to do. someone said something about grounding the euc wile in gear or something. if anyone coulld help thanks

the code is p0705
its reverse/neutral/drive/low circuit. or something else. the guy at advance wouldnt tell me the rest he was being a jerkoff. my scanner will be here thrusday. but my car needs to be inspected 4 months ago

Codes that start with P07 are automatic transmission codes. P0705 specifically is a problem with the inhibitor switch on the auto transmission of the TCM (auto trans related) is not getting the signal from the TPS.
Since you took the auto trans out and unplugged the TCM, I think you need to verify that the ECU you installed is for a standard trans.
When you get your own scanner, the description will probably be no better than the one the guy at the parts store gave you. As an example, my scanner for P0705 gives "Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction (PRNDL Input)". This is a long about way of saying refer to the FSM for the correct description.

i figured it out and got rid of the code. i had to ground out the ecu. there is a wire in the tcm harness that needed to be cut and spliced into the netraul wire on the reverse neutraul switch on the manual tranny. thanks guys
