oil leak problem

I drive a 1996 maxima 3 litre v6. I recently discovered I have a slow leak on the driver's side of the car. It only leaks when I park in the driveway after driving for awhile. I had my uncle, who knows a thing or two about cars, look at it and he thinks it might be the rear main seal on my car but isn't completely sure. It's not leaking alot. Can someone give me an estimate of what it will cost? I'm in college and need an idea pricewise so I can budget properly. If it helps, I live in Hopewell, VA.

A rear main seal job can get pricey at a shop but it is definitely something you can do with hand tools.

Its the upper oil pan half moon seals that are worn out. Replace and reseal your upper and lower oil pans and it will stop.

Either half moons or valve cover gaskets. Or both.
