Cat Back Exhaust

im so ****ed right now i bought one of those ****ty universal mufflers for $250 (CAN) then they wanted $185 to install it so im taking that ****ing thing back and i want to get a cat back or bolt on something that can be installed with out needing to go to a shop
whats the greddy web site i searched but couldnt find anything on them in the forums here...
any recomendations would be apreciated

I think you got ripped off on the muffler too. YOu should be able to get a muffler for about 100-150.. Installation should be around $50..Try shopping around for the muffler and the installation....

hmm... i think greg was selling them on his site for a while. Dunno if he still has them tho. I bought mine from Digitalracer.com about eight months ago for $539.00 shipped.

whats the cheapest way i can go about this im all show no go i just want the ****ing thing to make noise
are there any bolt ons? or maxima specific mufflers that fit perfectly onto a 96 se

There's a group buy going on for apexi ws exhaust and other apexi universal mufflers on www.groupbuycenter.com.. Most universal should make some noise. Take off your resonator and that thing should be loud. I don't think any of the universal are bolt on. They have to cut off your old muffler and weld on the new one.

either way they have to make a custom pipe section cause the maxima muffler has a curved down part then it connects to the stock muffler and the universal i have is too short

gettin a muffler welded on will only cost u about 40 dollars tops........the catback will cost more like 80-90 installed .........adding a muffler will give u very little performance gains........catback will give you slightly more generous gains
