Suspension squeak with video
After looking around the fourm, there seems to be a few possibilities of what the cause could be. Control arm bushings, a bearing of some sort, and worn/blown shocks. Personal experience, I have never heard a blown shock sound like this, even though mine are due for replacement. The car just turned 155k so needless to say besides shocks, everything else is OEM.
With the sounds from the two videos, someone has bound to have the same issue and fixed it. I have seen other Maximas on the road that sound the same lol!

Is that from the front or rear, can't tell??
Have you pushed down on all 4 corners to see if you can isolate where it's coming from?
We can give you a list, but it will include everything. More details please...

It's hard to tell. The only time I can somewhat get it to repeat is if I'm driving 10-15mph and turn the wheel back and forth about 1/8-1/4 turn of the wheel and I can get it to squeak a few times but still, not consistent.
I've driven over rough roads both fast and slow, and it seems less to do with the actual "shock" or impact of going over a bump. Sometimes it would squeak, most of the time it doesn't. Then I go over a fairly smooth road with very little or minor bumps, and it squeaks a lot more frequently.

check your front end links. if they're stock, they're most likely shot to hell at this point. I've thrown parts at a similar squeak (though i could replicate it by bouncing the corner), only to replace a $10 part and fix it.
Another possibility is a control arm bushing and/or a ball joint. Struts won't make that noise.
p.s. my money is on the end link.

Any closure on this? I'm having the exact same issue right now but i have new struts, endlinks, actually everything is brand new except the lcas so i guess that would be it. Just wanted to see if i could spare myself the cost if it was something else.

could be wheel bearings. I have a slight squeak at like 10 to 20 mph too, and I have a humming sound when turning which is usually an indication of wheel bearings. So I'd check into that if you have some sort of humming sound while turning or what not.

I am having the exact same problem -squeak. It is definitely coming from the front left side. I have new struts, lca's, cv axles. I swapped out the new front strut just to make sure it was not the culprit. The sway bar links looked good when I replaced the lca's and I have sprayed them with wd40 which did not stop the squeak. I had my light weight wife bounce the front of the car and I can replicate the squeak. It does appear to be coming from the front wheel well but I am not sure it is suspension noise. Any ideas?

My 300zx and bikes took up most of my free time this spring/sumer, but I think I'm going to crawl under and take a look at everything before it gets too cold.
For me, rocking the car at each corner does not produce the squeak, it takes driving/bumps to make it squeak. I'm starting to think that it's not suspension related, and something is loose like a heatshield or something.
