I live in New Orleans I have not seen one Max with Altezzas I want to be the 1st to have them out here. Who knows might encourage other members as well. , boy I am about to get pounded on by all you guys. What you guys think?

altezza's look sweet on integra's, and lightnings IMHO. They look boxy and fake on the maxima. looks just akward. Do it and it will override your car being sweet as it is, and will make it automaticaly riceboy in most eyes.

But its your car and your money so whatever floats your boat. Your red/clears look 100 times better to most people tho.

 

black chrome ? What now ? When did they start making those ?

 

Who cares what people think. I'm going to admit that, I got the Altezzas too, haven't put it on yet. They look better in person, not bad at all. For me, I never care what people say, or if they like it or not. If I listen to them, I would have taken the SMX grill off by now because people kept saying it made my car look like a Pontiac and blah blah blah.

 

nooooooooooo and yes ive seen a few maximas here with them already..theres a guy who works at mobile one with some on a white maxima.

You're right. Jaime, I have seen them on a few Maximas here too. One so far at my school. Who cares though right?

 

they have been availible for sometime in black chrome. I was thinking about it too, but i still like the clear/red look.

i got them as soon as they were availeable for my 95. i i've had several other maxima owners around here say tht they look sweet. more than that i really like them but i like chrome. if you do go ahead and get them, make sure that you get the blue bulbs for the reverse light and the blinker light. that looks REALLY nice.

No love , but I still got love for all of you guys, , No in reality I dont have no money to be spending on altezzas at the moment, my wife would have a fit, and ask why didnt I get some for her car. So I can't get them now. Cosmetics is the last thing on my mind anyways heck it took me 2 years to even change my bumper lenses. So no altezzas for now I am cool.

Personally I don't see how anyone could possibly pass up the look of the red/clears whether you have a 95-96 or 97-99 but especially 97-99. I'd never change the look I have on my 98 with the red/clears w/ hyperwhites.
I'm not knocking Altezzas, they look good one a number of cars, but not ours! Our tails are just too damn big and spread out to be clear plastic w/ tons of chrome.

 

 

I got my the first day they came out I was like the first one to get them in my area I love my Altezzas. I got a black Maxima and they look great on .

 

i was the first one in texas much less austin to have them, i won the first auction off ebay b4 they even got to other dealers, pic in profile

 

 

I just copped the altezzas for my black GLE 99 max. These joints is hot, especially since i have the chrome emblem and chrome door handles and chrome trim on the doors (u know next to the windows) Hot to deaf, and then i put polarg hyperwhites in the 194 part of the altezzas.....let me tell you. It is a very clean look with the red and white!

as little as posible. the blue isn't really like a bright blue it is more whitish. it looks better than the orangish color that the regular "white" bulbs give off. basically, w/o the blues, the lights are the same colors as the corners on the front.

 

What color "should" be in the corner bulb (194)? I have mine on the way, shouldn't it be a color (orange or red) to be legal? Anyone put the right lights in the Altezza? If so, which one? Thanks

Cool, I thought it was an orange/amber. Do you by chance remember the bulb number? Is it something like 194A?

 

buy a 2k2 Maxima you automaically get "Altezzas"

on my Altezzas I have a red #194 bulb in the the side marker light but I do not have the harness plugged in so it it just in there...it looks better when I cut on my park lights because I have -EUROLITE L.E.D.-Light Emiting Diodes(#1157-Brake/Rear Park Light Bulbs and they "glow" a deep red and all you see is four red circles "glowing" at night from the rear end looks like a Skyline"....many,many,many,many,
complimemts from this look at night from everyone....

Yeah I don't care what people think either. I have red/clears right now. They DO look good! I also bought Altezzas. I haven't put them on yet...I am hesitating right now cos I am not sure....I think I'll at least try them, if I don't like them I can always take them off!

 

I have the chrome ones on my 95 black max, and it looks damn hot. But since you have the option of buying clear/red tails, I would go with those. I wish somebody made those for 95-96 though....
