Audio controls

Is it possible to put the audio controls on the steering wheel like the new pathfinders have?

Maxima, not for beginners

Yes, some aftermarket headunits come with this feature. As for adding it to the stock system, your guess is as good as mine.

it should be possible but then you will have to get a new steering wheel harness, if they actually sell it. Unless you want to make job matters tougher by placing the wires by yorself and adding the buttons......if you dont use cruise control you may be able to use those buttons on the steering wheel maybe?

If you find out let me know! I'd love that option.

Unless the headunit was made to have remote capability, it won't work. The stock headunits don't have the controls.

Your best bet is either to go aftermarket headunit with remote, or research the newer Nissan headunits with remote and get ready to do some splicing & cutting

If you're going with a newer Nissan headunit, the service manual is a wealth of information. Good luck
