00vi question

So I srarted collecting my parts for the 00vi but I have a question that I havent been able to get an answer for, yes I searched, and everybody is using a 5th gen throttle body, but my question is... Can I use the 4th gen throttle body if I dont have the 5th gen?? Thanx in advance for any input...

Here are the parts I have so far:
5th gen upper intake manifold
5th gen lower intake manifold (both upper and lower complete with everything they come with I.e hoses and tubing)
5th gen valve cover
5th gen coils

Please let me know what else am I missing.

OP this is the site people used to use when they were serious about their 00vi swap.

http://tatanko.boredmder.com/

Go in there and read and research for all the set ups.

FYI you don't have to tune if you go full 5gen IM but you will run rich as hell. Like a 10.5:1 or 11:1 instead of the ideal 14.7:1

If you want to use A32 injectors you need to reuse the A32 lower manifold, just rotated 180 degrees. The A32 throttle body will need an adapter to fit the A33 upper manifold.

What are u using as a switch?? Why not get a vafcii and this will work as your switch and your tuning device. Then you can remote mount the iacv and use your 4th gen tb

DE-K has VQ35 fuel rails and injectors. Then you swap them out for '04 svt cobra injectors. About $10 each and they're 440cc

With modification, the VQ35 rail has different mounting tabs than the de-k.

They have the same type of injectors, but the fuel rails and injectors are not the same.
