I have a 1997 Maxima GXE with only 21,000 miles on it. I went to go for an oil change today and the mechanic found that the rack and pinion is leakin oil around the pipe (tube). How good is nissan's warranty anyone have similiar problems? email me if you can thankxs

 

Your warranty has expired. You might approach your local friendly Nissan dealer and ask if he can do anything for you, considering the low mileage. Ask politely, don't demand. Nissan might meet you halfway, such as paying for the labor if you pay for the parts.
