Boy am i a RETARD!!
Boy am i a RETARD!!
wow heres a crazy one...has anyone ever done this?? i was smoking up sum good stuff one night in my car and i opened to sunroof to let the smoke vent out...my car was already parked in the place where i park it, its kinda the side of sum1's garage that has enough room to fit a car so some lady rents it out to me...well as i was leaving..i was kidna high so i forgot to close the sunroof...and the next morning...IT WAS RAINING!! oh my godddddd...there was a frieken flood in there practically..well..actually, the seats were kinda puddly, and i have leather, the floor wasnt bad..the compartments/cup holder in the middle was soaked, had to empty everything from there...and sum kinda in the back seat too...but i dried it all up...but it stunk in there later that night...i was wondering how bad this is for the leather..for the gear shift(automagic)..or for the car...my car wouldnt start too well either the next time i tried starting it..could that have caused it or maybe it was jus sitting there for a long time without having been driven...could the water have caused any major damage? i AM A FRIEKEN RETARD, yes...but im not gonna do stupid **** like that again..u people can call me watever u want..but i was soooo ****ed and SOOO SAD when i got to my baby and was drying it and stuff...
almost did the same, opened the sunroof on the way to school, after first period looked up, noticed it was about to rain, and ran to my car and closed it, it ended up not even raining, good thing i remembered, and drugs are bad mmmkay
I prefer not to do that in my car, but rarely I do do it with the sunroof and windows a little bit open (don't wanna bake it), and I don't think I'd ever do such a stupid thing (leave my sunroof open overnight)
. But hey itz all good in da hood.

It will stink for a long time. You need to rip up all interior carpet and clean under it...it will grow mildew and then you really can't get rid of it...you seriously messed up your car.

well i dont smoke often...like only done it 6 times in my life...i dont drive intoxicated...my car was already parked and then i smoked up..and it stinks like crazyyy in there...sum people said it'll go away...others say i gotta rip up my carpet...i can live with the smell and not open up my carpet...is this rain bad for my leather tho?? besides the look and cleanliness of the car..will it do more than damage that?
If the smell is really bothering you... stuff some air freshners under the seats or in the footwells... For the leather, I'd clean it really really well... Other places, do the regular interior detailing, wipe everything... get some carpet cleaner, i just used it yesturday, it works well and leaves a good smell
also, there are sprays to remove smells from fabric, i got some in Kmart, it worked really good on the carpet and cloth seats when my friend puked on them

i would never have guess so many of us are Smokin...
Well i for one love the way the sunroof vent sucks out smoke.
Specially on the interstate @ 90
bg
PS I never left mine open but my sunroof used to leak into the switch
but after i tried the "coat hanger through the drains trick" no more leaks and the smell went away ...
Buy a bottle of "Air Wash -Artic Blue with Ozone" $2- it totally eliminates odors ! plus it smells like the air after it rains

oh yea
Here is where the problem began...
Weed affects your short term memory,
which may explain why you forgot to close the sunroof... next time, think it all through before you fire up, that way you can't forget anything when you are already f-cked up

thats funny
I did the same thing today, I've done it before, but luckily I've noticed every time when I left it open. I usually just crack a little bit past the point my deflector covers the opening when "chonging" it out. Having a leather interior helps I think, it doesnt seem to absorb the smell to much....but I never hotbox it, the smoke must leave right my Max right away...especially since I dont even smoke cigarettes.
1. get yourself a couple of boxes of arm & hammer baking soda and stick them under the seats to suck up the mildew smell.
2. get yourself some saddle oil and treat the leather to give it some shine and moisture so it wont crack up on you.
3. next time you smoke weed in your car, do a fishbowl that way no accidents like this will happen again.

smoking dope is stupid, smoking weed isn't
...i don't classify them as the same...
anyway, dam, that sucks, but i never smoke in my car, i love weed but i love my car and my car is like a church, very sacred...only thing nasty i'll have done in my car is

My interior has been drenched several times by leaving the sunroof tilted or, even once, completely open. Yikes!!! I removed all the floor mats and cleaned em good. Applied leather conditoner to the seats. Aired the car out - on a hot day I opened all the doors and sunroof, removed the floor mats again, disconnected the battery and let it air out for a while. To get rid of the smell, febreeze is pretty good, as all ready mentioned, but a better trick is to take some coffee and put it in a container, like a butter tub, cut several slits in the top and place it in your car. It will at first mask the odors w/ coffee but it will also absorb the odors. Works like a charm. After a few days remove the coffee and give it a few days to clear then buy any tree you like and hang that bish somewhere. I personally like the MEDO pucks - they smell great. Btw, I had no idea it was 4:20 all over the org.

Hehe, you'd be amazed. I've come to learn in my innosense that it's pretty much 4:20 everywhere you go. I've been quite suprized just how many people from a broad range of lifestyles pass it to the left. Maybe one day I'll finally try it......
