98 Maxima just picked up, 135k on solid body needs paint(no rush) No Rust! coilovers ordered just installed flowmaster 40 series exhaust ANY SUGGESTIONS on a CAT to give me that extra hum I am missing, thinking magna flow, little pricy for the direct fit....Going headers and super charger after I find some 04-06 17''s for it....O this is my 4th max had a 4thgen, 3rd gen and second but this biotch only has 45k original miles w/ 5 speed tranny!!!! Doing work nowthis is my sons car when he is 16 but he is only 4 right now gotta get started now..LOL

 

If you plan on having this around for another 12 years, rust on the undercarriage should be your top priority and prevent it from happening if it hasn't already along with the radiator support. As for the CAT, I am not sure what your best option is here. I just bought a Walker direct fit at the end of may but have not installed yet because of spraying with rust preventer on entire exhaust.

 

The under body and frame were taken care of less than six months ago(sanded and sprayed with what looks like a thinned out rhino liner), the car has been sitting garaged for the last 6 years, the guy replaced struts, only thing is paint, I picked up a jeep cheap and flipped it for good $ so Im just gonna bang around in it for summer dump my profits into it and lock her away for winters after I get everything done. I saw that cat in a few places let me know if it works out how much was the fitted roughly?
