Radio intermittently screen blank

Anyone had issues with radio screen going blank? Radio still works and can change channels but blank. Tried to find any loose wires and fiddle with wires to duplicate but have not been able too. Also just doesn't seem to act like a loose wire. The randomness, whether driving or not or even with or without engine running. Have not seen any related threads or subject that's fits my issue. Gremlins can be tricky to find! Thanks,
Rob

Aftermarket or stock?

I'm assuming it's the stock which is notorious for problems with the screen cutting out. Fix seems to be re soldering the connections. Look here

Here is my story of replacing a dead LCD in my tape deck. You probably just nead to check for cold solder joints on the screen leads.
