Another suspension noise thread

I recently replaced my shocks, struts and springs and now I'm noticing this weird metallic rubbing sound coming from the front(sort of like a circular saw coming to a stop). This is only sometimes when turning left. I checked the rotor dust shields and they're fine. I also noticed one of my CV boots was torn. Could this be the cause? Thanks.

CV joints don't make a metallic rubbing sound do they? They just click?

Cv axles will click. Check the front strut mounts and bearing plates. I have these get pit in wrong and make all sorts of fun sounds

Well I'm embarrassed. It wasn't a suspension noise. It was a lousy exhaust hanger. Thanks though.
