I was wondering, and i know that this is a really stupid question, but i want leather seats for my 97 SE. Besides the junkyard adn nissan, where would be a good place to get them?

www.leatherseats.com makes complete leather sets for the Maxima. They are thicker and nicer quailty than stock, so they deserve to be looked at. I just wish I didn't get leather in my car from the factory.

Ditto on the two previous posts. My advice to you, do not get stock nissan leather.

I also agree with the above, plus you have alot more options with aftermarket leather. Two tone leather, engraved logos, etc...

Yes, that's what I have. It's called perforation.

Yes, you replace cloth covers with these leather covers.

Hmm...this might be worth looking into since my beige interior looks like ***. Not worn out but dirty evenly across the surfaces.

Everyone I know who purchased leather interior from www.leatherseats.com is very satisfied with the product. Definitely a good investment.

I payed $700 for the whole interior, including leather door inserts ($25 each) and installation kit. I installed them myself.

If a professional detailer can't clean it up then go for the custom leather. You can have a different color or two tone interior with embroided letters.

Yourself?
It's not that hard, just time consuming.

No cutting is necessary, but you'll have to glue door panel inserts to the panel. You can pretty much call it "plug & play"
