P1320 code

what to do next if you have changed all your ignition coils with OEM, and the code is still on? the P1320 code is killing me, i bought a used set from the org. i had 5 originals in the car, only the 6th one was not OEM. so I decided to changed all with the used set and now the code is still on.

should i just put back my original ones on and changed the 6th one only?

i hate this code.

This is a cylinder misfire code right? Try running injector cleaner thru your gas tank.

Could be a sticking injector. See foam the intake and like said before get a good fuel injector cleaner. Apart from the code how is the car running?

car in running fine, no issues, no stalling, no mis-firing. i have 235K and cant get this problem off. i have to pass inspection, i dont want to spend $600 for 6 brand new OEM coils and have the same issue.

i dont know what to do next, any help would be great. this car has been so great to me that i dont want to give her up, but this dam problem is not effing fun...

what else throws out the P1320 code? the mechanic said the main board could be failing, and it may not be your coils.

P1320 according to the FSM:

Harness or connectors (The ignition primary circuit is open or shorted.)
Power transistor unit built into ignition coil
Condenser (in the wire harness by cylinder 6)
Crankshaft position sensor (REF) (on crankshaft pulley by oil filter)
Crankshaft position sensor (REF) circuit

As you know, this is a difficult code.

Do the coil test and see if you can isolate which cylinder is misfiring.

You can do a resistance test on the coil per the haynes and that will tell u the coil is indeed malfunctioning.

You will also need to see if each coil is getting power and sending power back to the ECM. Then u should check each injector.

You should aslo check the plugs. Its one of these things man. Hopefully its not a short which i really doubt.

This is probably a DFQ, but did all the coil connectors click into place when you put them on?

The igniter condensor is about a $6 part from the dealer and it may be bad.

Just came from his house and the P1320 code is no longer there. He has P0141 and P1493 codes.
