multi spark ignition is only an advantage over the inductive ignition on the higher rpm range it where the shorter burn allows for more sparks in less time. or where the induction has trouble recharging the voltage needed to jump the gap.
I doubt you will rev O' girl to 7k every gear at her age. unless your tired of changing coils every so often.

Id look into intake/y pipe/catback/rear sway bar for some starter mods. For your cars age its a little late in the game to be looking at the more in depth mods. Ecu maybe, but you def dont need a stage 3. Maybe a stage 1 if you got money to blow.

get a y pipe brah you'll be stompin those accords in no time.

on a serious note, read the stickies for more info. Y pipe is the best bang for the buck in the horsepower department.

Oh vq35 $750 ~ $1250 then labor

Your car has a lot of miles on it. Mine does too. I have replaced the knock sensor, replaced the spark plugs, oxygen sensors, and I spray cleaned the MAF and the throttle body. The car runs much better than it did. Much more power.

Do the basic maintenance like I did. You might be amazed at the improvement.

Your budget will thank you.

By the way, I also drive a 1996 SE.

Get a vq35 swap. If you're really interested in modding your vq30 then start with ypipe and catback like stated. Ram air intake, etc. If you're REALLY daring, find an 00vi swap and then maybe an ecu. A stage 3 clutch is pointless unless you're really pushing some hp.

Start with basic bolt ons, there's no need to go ***** deep into your trans....yet

If you actually google your questions (maf, 00vi) you will get answers. Some of the links will be to this forum. If you read the faqs on the top of the page of "how to" you will find the info you need also.

Your car is 17 years old. Put the cash in the bank, not in the car. Buy a newer car with more HP and technology in a year or two.

Your welcome.

Yes, obviously lots of people on here have 4th gens, and have SPENT tons of money on them, is it logical? No. Is it rational? No. Are there much better platforms to modify? Yes. Is there really any reason to modify a car with 180k miles on it? No.

That being said, if you still have the drive to modify and SPEND, not INVEST, SPEND large amounts of money on a 4th gen, do it, understand you will never see the money again and the only thing you are BUYING is the happiness of driving a car that speaks to you, and the challenge of building it.

I <3 my 4th gen, and you better love it if you are gonna mod it, cause to do it IMHO the right way, you better have at least 5k to BLOW, not INVEST, **** AWAY, cause you won't get it back on resale...

If you are looking for a good "baby it" build, look up Amerikaner's car.

If you are looking for a good na-vq30 build look up tigersharkdudes car

If you are looking for a good swap build, look around in the all motor section...

search search search my friend.
