Looks like I need to replace it. Is it a part that normally goes? This sucks cause if that thing gets louder or just completely falls off, I got a big problem on my hands. This car is turning into a damn nightmare. It used to be fine for 5 years with parts only sometimes going. Now the past 2, it feels like one after another and I take care of it and don't beat on it.
I just wonder how hard this job is going to be if I can't get to it without needing to lift the engine........

Once you replace everything you have a brands new car again. I'm almost to that point. I'm in so deep I couldn't sell it without losing my *** 3x over. Ah the joys of keeping a car you love alive.
thats the point lol, keep it man, the repairs may be tough to go through, but once its done and all replaced. it will stop eventually
and besides new cars are $400 a month to pay.. plus other things like i heard new cars for an oil change is $100 a pop... crazy huh? with these maximas, they're $30.
keep it, u wont regret it
i have a 96 white pearl maxima with 129k miles, yea i know not alot of miles, only had it since october 2012, not much repairs, only a few. like battery change.. etc very minor stuff, and plan to keep it for a while (hopeing for another 10 years)since its low mileage, im still working on it since its my project car. it does not need much to make it look better(bought it looking complete stock). past owner was a senior owner and didn't drive it much. but did maintenance and stuff
