Need opinions on potential 4th gen

Hello .org members, as of right now my maxima is closing in on 210k miles and she's concerning me. The usual 4th gen owner aches are occurring to me, the radiator support is barely existent anymore.. numerous suspension parts are starting to go all at once, etc, etc.

Now getting to the point.. I have been browsing on CL and found this diamond in the rough.. http://hartford.craigslist.org/bar/4258752529.html only question is she won't start and the girl says she's replaced battery and starter and "hears" its the alternator. My question is assuming everything else is relatively mint, how much risk am i running potentially investing in this one? I was thinking of low balling her a decent amount because it won't even run.

I posted to get opinions and what some of you experts think about this situation, contributors are greatly appreciated.

here is a second listing she has up with a little more info on the car

Could be NATS which is common for 1999's. Go see it and if the security light is on lowball the fawk outta her, buy it, have a locksmith reprogram it= winning

yeah I'm gonna go to the bank tomorrow and just play mr mechanic and explain that its not worth much because it's not running and it could be a magnitude of things. Gonna start at 1500 and see what she says haha! have my friend trailer it to my house and let the trouble-shooting begin! thanks for the opinions greatly appreciated

I will never pay 3200 bucks for this not running car. There is 02 auto for sale in my area with few small issues, but running for 2k. If you can fix it, give them 1000-1200 bucks and take her home.

Definitely check the radiator support. The NATS disable is a good point to check out. Take a code reader with you to see what codes it may have. Take some jumper cables with you in case the battery is dead.
