Pics? You have to install those L brackets first then the headlights attach to that. Do you have the brackets?

I just recently installed mine, my brackets were mislabeled. The L goes on the right and R goes on the left.

If you are stuck I can snap a few pictures for you of how mine are installed.

Also how did you guys get the connectors to fit tightly? It seems on the pair I have the blue connector doesn't fit tight with the stock brown one, as If it's loose.

It should just snap right in. That's the easy part

IIRC, there are no 'snaps'. You just push the connectors together. Mine were loose too.

You could just put some high temp sealant or headlight sealant on the connectors to fix the problem

+1

My R34s I installed last fall didn't snap so I also used zip ties. As mentioned the L brackets are reversed labelled. I had to drill the bracket holes and inner mounting holes wider along with inserting a few washers for spacing to get the R34s to fit snug. To get the grille mounted I had to cut and drill the plastic mounting spots on the R34s.

Okay guys thanks for all the input regarding this install. I'll try my best to put these things on, which I bought from Ebay. So if all fails I shall return them and get a more official pair. Most likely from Custom Maxima or other sites rather than Ebay. I shall post a few pics along the way.

There's no sense in returning them since they're all from the same manufacturer.

You install the brackets on the car first, then install the headlights..

Only for looks.
Not safe for night driving IMO.

If you have money, get those and get them retrofitted for projectors.

Light output really sucks. They do look good but not worth the hassle.

Since I had my accident my center bracket is bent. I have a new one but because of the snow in New England I can't install it, so my R34's don't sit flush.Name: 20140209_141303_zps36e2dfde.jpg

As I mentioned earlier I drilled wider mounting holes, inserted washers for spacing, and also bent back the L bracket.

To increase the light output I replaced the cheap 9006s that came with the R34s with Slvania Xtravision 9006 bulbs. They're much brighter.

So I might have to modify the L brackets then. The Ziptie idea worked out. I'm gonna have another go at it later on today. The bulbs that come included really do suck!

I recommend them for retrofitting only.

I have a similar gap on my passenger side. I just let it be.

Thats why you buy them, then either:

1: Swap the bulb for better light output
2: Do a baby retofit with HID conversion
3: Let chrisman work his magic and make your sh*t hot.

that is if you wanna be all

if not feel free to keep your stock ish.
