How to replace blower motor 4th gen.

I want to replace the blower motor in my 4th generation Maxima. I removed the glove box but there is a glove box support near the blower motor. Will the blower motor and fan clear the support in the 4th generation or does that have to come out?

Wrong forum but yes...you have to cut that little plastic strip to get the blower motor out. It doesnt hurt anything and is there for assembly purposes when the car is put together.

Post in the 4th gen forum for questions...this is the for sale forum

That being said, if you need a new blower assembly I have one that has a brand new evaporator and valve installed last year (litterly this thing has only seen one summer and is perfect).

Agreed, it will come out just fine. A bit tight, but it'll go. I don't recall cutting anything when I removed mine for cleaning out some leaves.

Moved to the correct forum.
