Plenum Bracket Mod

After wrestling with four plenum installations over the past three years, I decided to cut a channel into the bracket's upper bolt hole that will allow the bracket bolts to be threaded into the intake plenum before installation.

Once the intake plenum has been positioned over the intake runner, the bolts can be tightened in-place.

Has anybody tried this modification in the past?

If you have installed an intake plenum, then you will know where I'm coming from with this modification.

I'm not sure if finding ways to make things easier is allowed. But if you want to become a Nissan design engineer, you WILL cease and desist this kind of thing.
