Emanage Ultimate Harness

Hey guys, have not been on in a while. Finally started back on my build. I need to either buy a harness or find someone to take my universal harness and make one to work for a 96 ECU. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Why not install it per DandyMax's instructions found on VQpower.com? The install is actually quit easy, just requires half a day's time and some patience. 95-98 Maximas all install the same, with a slight twist for 99's.

Yeah I have it....and have read quite a bit of it. I'm actually starting the labeling as we speak. I have downgraded my ECU to a 96 w/ 01 DEK with turbo...just worried doing everything at once. If I have to trouble shoot it could be a big issue.

Don't do everything at once. Install the emanage and leave all the settings at 0. Only touch the setup parameters so the emanage knows what car it's in and your Max will be just like stock, only it's going through the emanage first.

I made all my connections plug and play so I could always remove the emanage and connect everything back the OEM way. Fired right up the first time and haven't had problems for years and have since installed two more EU's for friends.

I have no choice but to do all this at once. So we will see how it goes.

Why do you have no choice? You're asking for trouble IMO.

because new motor (DEK) sold MAF bought 300zx MAF, sold exhaust, new exhaust with turbo, FMI, the list goes on and on. not a DD so I'm not worried. Bought everything I needed for this transformation...did over 2 years researching this forum and VQ power. I've done my research and will do all my downpipes and up pipe with reverse y pipe.

That's great. By why not install EU first, make sure car runs and drives normally, then install turbo? Or turbo first, make sure car drives fine, then EU.
If you slap all your mods at once, and not in stages, you're asking for potential troubleshooting headaches.

not spending money on items that I sold so I can do it in stages. If it's trouble shooting headaches then that's fine. I'm feeling pretty confident with all this forum has to offer. Hopefully she will be running again within the next month or so.

Great to hear, and glad you decided to do it in stages.
