my car is starting to having major issues, and im starting to be concerned if i should invest any more $$$ in the car. in has 240K currently.

my car stalls at the red light and the engine shuts off, i was driving on the highway, and the engine shuts offs a fewtimes on me. i rolled down my window, and it has this weird smell of smog. i read some old post and people are saying it could be a vacuum leak or a egr valve clogged.

has this happened to anyone? pls help fellas

 

yea it could be vacuum leak or egr valve clogged.. somthing is clogged up, its like the human body, if our lungs are clogged would we be able to function and live? nope. same thing applies to cars

its quite an easy fix once u find what it is.

 

Too many possibilities. Does your car reach full operating temperature and then start to shut off? If so, I would replace the ECTS (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) if it was never replaced.
