Climate control

Installed aftermarket stereo and now I have to turn on climate control manually everytime I start the car. Never had to do that before. The first two times I took out the stereo no problem now not so good. Just a hassel not life ending.

Is the clock and your new stereo also loosing memory? Check fuses, make sure the connections into the climate control unit are all tight.

could be the wires and fuses behind it, I had best buy install a aftermarket radio in my car, once i got it back my A/C would not turn on at all, I told them "I cannot live without A/C and it was working perfectly fine before, so can u fix it please" and they took 15 mins to fix it, all they said was one of the wires were placed in the wrong place.

It does work you just have to turn it back on everytime. It also reads 75 degrees until you turn the temp down to 68

Pull the control unit out and inspect the wire harness connectors that they are plugged in all the way. Also carefully inspect each wire in the connectors that they have not been pushed out of the plastic connector.

After I installed my stereo last weekend my mode switch lights on my manual HVAC weren't working. Rather than temp fate and make things worse I will leave well enough alone.
