new tires?

new tires?

i had been racin around my max and such since i got it and will ocasionally peel the tires and thing when driving. well maybe over the last week i had to brake VERY har a couple times and all sorts of smoke came out of the tires....now they dotn peel then i accelerate, and i dont accelerate very quickly at all....do i need new tires? the tread is still visile

what kinds of rims and tires are u running on?? If you decide to get new tires get potenzas. 17 inch rims will have a very minimal peelout

look down the channels of the tires.... there are small obtruding bumps in the channels somewhere along the entire diameter of the tire. if the thread itself is worn down up to the obtruding bumps then your tires are worn down and need replacement.

Also, how many miles do you have on them?
If you noticed they are noiser now then before, this is another indication they may need to be replaced.


My stock Toyo tires had 62k miles on them before i replaced them. imagine that.
