Fuel filter question

I'm going to change my fuel filter tomorrow but I just filled up my gas tank tonight, is it reccomended to relieve the fuel pressure with almost empty tank or does it not matter?

Pull the fuel pump fuse and run your car until it dies then replace.
Doesn't matter how full your tank is.

Best time to do the fuel filter job is 1st thing in the morning after sitting overnight. The fuel pressure will be practically gone. Gas tank levels don't matter.

Okay I had a little trouble putting in my new fuel filter, but found an easier way so I'll make a write up soon as supplementary info for the org.
