I picked up a new stillen under drive pulley with belts for $50. Yay or nay on installing or should I resale?

Yes = Install it.
No = Sell it.

I was hoping that maybe I could get some insightful help from the experts on whether this is a worthwhile project and if the gains are worth the risks I've read on this site and others. Things like pulleys falling apart or just trying to get the balancer off in the first place.

Maybe I should've asked: Has anyone ever had trouble with this Stillen set-up? Is it worth the trouble?

If I had a UDP I would install just for preventative maintenance- OEM separate, UDP do not.. And DITTO on the belts.

 

Sell it for $55 in the classifieds section. Or PM me and I will buy it. Yeah, go ahead and PM me for sure.
I had good luck with a UDP on my last car.

 

Thanks Finkle but I think I'm going to take asand1 advice and install it this weekend.

I've read plus and minus on these but I'll take the couple of hp that it may give.

 

I plan on buying one in the next month or so. Sucks as I just got new belts. From what I've read on the .org, it will do something, but nothing like a Y pipe or OOVI. One of those "I ran out of big HP mods and this can't hurt" kind of thing.
