cattman header fitment

I'm sure I could have searched this and filtered through it but I just need to know if cattman headers from 5th gen and even 5.5 gen fit a 4th gen. About to drop 6 bills and need some help pulling the trigger on this one, lol!!!

They'll fit, but keep in mind that they won't have the EGR connection which the 95-00 require.

So I would have to plug the egr, correct? Will it lower my gas mileage? I hear egr helps a ton for cruising mileage, right?

Yes, you'll have to install a block off plate, or have an EGR connection welded to the headers.

EGR does help gas mileage.

You live in CA, correct? Not having the EGR hooked up is going to trigger a CEL. Your NOx emissions will go through the roof too. So between the CEL and the high emissions, you can forget about passing smog.

I see that you're looking at two sets for sale.

This is the set to consider since it has the EGR

Even with egr hooked up my NOx emissions will still go through the roof?
