Getting it right!!!
I have another Maxima (can't get enough). A 98 with 192k, I see it needs the obvious valve cover gaskets, power steering hose and maybe timing tensioner & of course the radiator support. What else can I do along way to ensure she runs excellent! I plan on putting my stock turbo off of my 87 T-type on it next year. Also I currently have a vafc2 computer. Can I wire this into the stock 98 for future times? Thanks in advance for all the knowledge I gained from the org!
Just give her a full tune-up.
Here's how to install the VAFCII into your Max.

True. I already have a CAI, y-pipe and a 2½" Greddy sp2 cat back & slotted rotors all around. I plan on doing suspension over the winter. What else can I do to keep up with the majority on the road? Future plans are 00vi intake, maybe a chip and hoping to swap in a LSD trans
Normal bolt ons are weaksauce and don't add up to all that much. I say boost it. If done properly, it will have no ill effects on your engine. Your transmission may start to hate you, but not the engine.
Is turbo the best way to go... I'm looking for decent mpg, reliability because I travel a lot and all around sleeper... Do any companies make bolt on kits? What prep should I do to ensure everything works right & efficient
