Couple problems.. Help needed

I hear a squaking noise when I turn my wheels all the way to the right, or to the left. It's not the steering fluid because I filled it up. When I start the engine, I hear a screeching/rattling noise when the engine starts, and I'm guessing my starter motor went bad, but not too sure. I remember getting my starter motor repaired by a mechn. once. Lastly, after I start the engine, warmed up or not, when I try to turn my wheels in P mode (when I'm moving my car from the parkinglot) the wheels wont turn. I have to force it alot to turn the wheels. Feels like as if the steering wheel fluid has frozen.

And I was wondering if one of those $$$ 120k,200k checkups is worth doing it. My max has about 120k so far. I can see its slowly dying on me..
