moonroof/sunroof gasket

Does any one know where I can get just the rubber gasket that goes around the glass on the sunroof? All I have found is you have to buy the glass with it. I would rather not do that.

yeah, there or ebay. I was looking a while back and was not able to find just the gasket being sold, or other specific parts from the dealer. So I bought a complete sunroof assembly from a parts car.

That's not a gasket but rather a piece of finishing trim for the glass edge. Are you leaking water into the car? If so, clear the drains on each corner of the sunroof frame assy. Also make sure the drain hoses are clear and most importantly are still attached to the farms assy.

Water is not leaking in the car. The rubber trim piece does not go all the way around the glass, there is a roughly 1/2 inch gap at the back of the glass. I thought I should fix that before winter, because my car gets parked out side so the wife can have the garage. But my drain tubes are working just fine so i don't know how concerned I should really be.

My car has the same gap in the back. Been that was since I got it. It does not leak, but there is wind noise. I found some at the junkyard that do not have the gap, but I didn't look into it enough to see how they came apart. I was going to cut a small piece off one and insert it into mine.

For a temporary fix, I put electrical tape over it. Stopped the wind noise.
