97 maxima autotransmission problen

So I replaced both front struts on my 97 maxima gle and now when I put my car in gear it won't activate the transmission. It is the same in drive, 1st, 2nd and reverse. When I have it any of those gears and rev the engine the speedometer acts like the car is moving but the car doesn't. Then when I try to put it back in park it grinds, so I have to turn the car off to out it back in park. Any ideas?

I bet one of the CV axles became disconnected from the transmission when you had the struts out. Lift the car up and give the cv axle a wiggle. If they are seated in the transmission properly they wont move very much. If that is the case, you might be able to get a pry bar on it and nudge it back into place.

More so the CV has seperated from the drive shaft. Check both outer cv's.
To fix, you'll need to remove the boot, slide the cv back on and rebrand the boot.
